It’s called The Giant Halloween Candy Apple, and you can buy it at Williams-Sonoma online. I promise if someone buys this for me, I will eat it, and then if I’m still alive, I’ll write about it. Did you guys know that caramel apples are my favorite treat? And knowing is half the shopping angst.
The other half is sticker shock. They cost $22.95 (yes, that’s for one), and the box weighs 2-2.75 pounds, apparently, so while they don’t look that big in the picture, this is enough sugar to make most average adults go into a minor coma.
Mmmmmm, coma. Delicious, delicious coma.

The problem with this sort of thing, though, is that it’s usually not NEARLY as delicious as you’d hoped it would be. My guess is that any caramel apple you made yourself would taste ten times better. In fact, I’m pretty sure we should make a few soon to test this theory out.
I always knew you were brilliant.
Remind me next year, and I will make you a caramel apple to make your head explode. Sheri’s mom Annie has a tree that grows 1.5 pound apples (seriously).
Caramel apples are also among my favorite treats, but I prefer them with just caramel and nuts, not lots of other stuff. :)
Rocky Mountain Chocolate Company does this too for much less. They are just as wonderful as you’d think they would be!
